Dear All,
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who have assisted the people of Linden in their time of struggle during the month long protest. Whether it was financial, material or a simple prayer, every little contribution went a long way.
We also wish to extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of those who lost their lives and those who were injured. It is with much sadness and pain that I remember them today and hope that their lives will not be lost in vain.
Thanks also to the APNU, the AFC, other political parties and NGO’s for their support. A special thank you to all Guyanese, the Diplomatic Community and above all, the people of Linden and the entire Region 10.
