Dear Editor,

I find it rather amusing that Mr. Jagdeo would be so brazen enough to send a " congratulatory message " to President Barack Obama . I am quite positive that President Obama can do without such hypocrisy from Jagdeo.

I sincerely hope that President Obama would swiftly order a team of investigators to unearth the truth behind the slaughtering of over 400 young black men and women under the PPP regime, the slaughtering of hard-working people in Lusignan , Bartica and Agricola, the assassination of Ronald Waddell and Minister Sash Sawh and numerous others.

Also, the issue of torturing of Guyanese by certain members of the Joint Services, the deaths of numerous prisoners at the Camp Street Prisons, the promotion of Steve Merai , Henry Greene , Balram Persaud and Karim Baksh of the Guyana Police Force. And finally, the alleged involvement of senior govenment officials, army, prison and police officers , a few magistrate and judges in contract killings and the narco-trade. These are serious matters which I hope President Obama will confront the Jagdeo led regime and throw the book at all those who are culpable, including Mr. Jagdeo.
