Ms. Jennifer Senniese one of the organizers of the protest said "we need to put a stop to all of the atrocities in Guyana, and ensure that this matter is brought before the International Court, that is why we have joined forces with the Movement of Change for a better Guyana, this is in order to expose the Guyana government as being part of the drugs trade etc." Meanwhile, another organizer Mr. Lester Francois posited that "his group will be meeting with top US Officials to discuss the issue of Minister of Health and the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Henry Greene. The protest is expected to reach in front of the White House very soon." During the protest, Guyana's Consul General, Mr. Brenthnol Evans came out to chat with the protestors and listened to their concerns.
