Dem Boys seh… Robert should learn from Panday
Sunday, 31 January 2010
Some people does do funny things and put other people in trouble. Last week somebody decide to pay fuh a whole page advertisement claiming how some PNC people want dump Corbin. De same people claim how dem want a host of other people but when dem boys check de very people dem claim dem didn’t know anything about de ad. And besides, dem had dem own people to lead de party. Fuh one of de old party is only a few parties in de whole Caribbean ever got dem leadership problems like wha de PNC got. Every other party got a stable leadership and de only time dem does have a li’l ruffle is when dem got party elections.
Trinidad got de ANC and Panday was de big thing but dem vote he out. He is de fuss party leader in de Caribbean to lose an election. Now de PNC like it reading all dem papers that come out of Trinidad and de same thing that used to happen to Panday is that happening to Robert.
De people start fuh pick at Panday and he get vex. He and Papa Cheddi turn friend and when Papa Cheddi win de election in 1992 Panday was a special invitee. Now Panday gone.
Robert use to get he special invitation and it look like if, once he party people continue in de same vein he gun end up like Panday.
Dem boys seh that P.J. Patterson was one of de greats. He give up he party when he think he been at de head long enough. And de people all respect he. Nobody ain’t respect Panday now a days.
Robert should tek note and while he is a popular man more than Panday, strange things can happen. Talk half. Lef half.

Mission Statement

The Mark Benschop Foundation was officially launched in March 2008 by its founder and chairman Mark Benschop and other concerned Guyanese and well wishers in the United States of America. What started as a small operation geared toward helping those in need has grown so large that they were forced to move their offices to a whole building in East Street where the vast amount of people responding to their generosity  could be accommodated.
